Campbell supervisors deny request for used car storage lot

according to A field on Nickland Drive in Campbell County will see the sun again after the Campbell County Board of Supervisors unanimously denied a special use permit for a used car storage lot in a meeting this week. The cars belong to local car salesman David Hall, who was paying Darby $450 per month to use the field. Campbell County Zoning Administrator Austin Mitchell said the county requires a special use permit for cars stored on a parcel and not titled under the property owner's name. Leroy Stevenson, who lives across the road from Darby, pleaded with supervisors to deny the special use permit. After Stevenson's testimony, all seven supervisors voted to deny the special use permit.
